I am a freelance graphic designer and mixed media artist, specializing in Art Dolls. I began my journey to become a full-time artist January 1, 2006. You can read more about my journey and my life in my blog.

I am fascinated by color, and most of my art is very colorful and graphic in nature. I started working on Art Dolls, almost by accident in March of 2006. I joined in a paperdoll swap and had so much fun making the first one that I made a series of eight. This series is available on various merchandise under the name Ladies Who Lunch at my cafe press store.

Since then I have made dolls out of bottles and pinecones and a variety of other materials, but most of my dolls are made from polymer clay or fabric. You can view a selection of my dolls at my Doll A Day etsy shop and my LadyArtichokeHeart etsy shop.

I do art dolls on commission and freelance graphic design jobs, as well as doing my own work.
